2024 ICFF | Wanted

  • Jacob K. Javits Convention Center 429 11th Avenue New York, NY, 10018 United States (map)

Join MushLume Lighting at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair May 19-21, 2024, where we will be launching an entirely new lighting collection grown from mushroom mycelium in the Wanted Look Book pavilion (Booth W1059).

An Ode to Nature is a biodesigner’s poetic exploration in biofabrication, co-creating biophilic forms with mycelium in a humble attempt to pay respect to the great Source of all life on this planet. By examining both naturally occurring forms and those crafted with human influence, we can begin to see a symbiotic future where cooperation is key to not only survival, but to experience the harmonious connection when humans remember that we too, are Nature.

Celebrating 10 Years!

Danielle Trofe originally launched the MushLume Lighting Collection during WantedDesign Launch Pad in 2014. In ten years the product line has grown to become its own brand and company and is celebrated as one of the first successfully commercialized biofabricated products made available in the global market. And the first mycelium-grown lighting collection to be launched within the lighting industry. Our story and products continue to inspire entrepreneurs and designers across the globe to begin their own mycelium journeys. As more and more biodesign companies and biofabricated products emerge on the scene the greater validation and momentum the biodesign movement garners.
