We are officially launching our sustainable lighting collection, grown from mushroom mycelium, in Europe this September (2023) and have chosen the London Design Festival as a launch pad for our brand and products in the UK and EU markets.

MushLume Lighting will be showcasing a collection of biofabricated hanging pendant lamps and wall sconces at the London Design Fair, Sept 21-24, 2023 at the Truman Brewery in East London, UK.

Located in the creative heart of east London, London Design Fair (formerly known as Tent London) is a four-day event which brings together designers, retail buyers, interior designers, architects, and specifiers, as well as design enthusiasts. Taking place on 21-24 of September 2023 at the Truman Brewery, the Fair provides an inspirational destination for established brands, independent designers, and international showcases. London Design Fair is the place for buyers within the design community to source the very best in furniture, lighting, collectable design, materials and original installations from around the world.

New for 2023, the London Design Fair will be featuring a Sustainable Materials Showcase that will promote exhibitor’s materials that have been repurposed in an innovative way, contributing towards a global mission to better the environment. Visitors will be able to see the material in its raw format and discover more about the production process and environmental credentials. Visitors may then be directed toward the exhibitor’s space to see the finished product. All materials in the Sustainable Materials Showcase will be presented on bespoke plinths, designed and made by Tomas and Jani. MushLume Lighting will join the showcase debuting the unique Mushroom Material that the lampshades are biofabricated from.
